At First Baptist Church of Progress Village, the Helping Hands Ministry is dedicated to sharing God’s love and compassion with members of our church family and community who are sick, recovering, or unable to attend worship in person. Through heartfelt visits, encouraging phone calls, uplifting cards, and thoughtful care packages, we remind each person that they are valued, loved, and never forgotten. Our mission is to bring comfort, prayer, and hope right to their doorstep, serving as the hands and feet of Christ to those in need.
Our goal is to connect with homebound, sick, bereaved, and members not in regular attendance to assist, encourage, and pray for them in their homes or care facilities.
Our Mission
The Helping Hands Ministry extends love, encouragement, and spiritual care to members of our church family and community who are sick, recovering, or unable to attend services in person. We bring the church to them through prayer, visits, and acts of kindness.
