At First Baptist Church of Progress Village, the We Grow Youth Ministry is a vibrant community dedicated to nurturing the spiritual growth and personal development of our youth, ages 12-18. Our mission is to empower young people to grow in faith, build strong relationships, and serve their community.

Our mission is to inspire and equip youth to grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ, develop Godly character, and boldly live out their faith in their homes, schools, and communities.

YOUTH MINISTRY PROGRAMS
Children's Ministry (Ages 4–6)
Building a strong foundation in Christ for our youngest learners through fun lessons, songs, and activities that introduce God’s Word in an age-appropriate way.
Construction Zone
Focused on ages 7–11, this program equips children with biblical knowledge and life application tools to help them “construct” a strong faith that will carry them into their teen years.
Youth Media
A hands-on ministry where youth learn media skills such as sound, video, and digital presentations while supporting worship services and church events.

Youth Usher
Training youth to serve as greeters and ushers during worship, helping them develop servant leadership and responsibility in God’s house.
Youth Hospitality Leader: Barbara Tripp
Youth Choir
Encouraging young voices to lift praises to God, the youth choir teaches the importance of worship, teamwork, and sharing the Gospel through music.
Youth Choir Leader: Clarissa Thornton
Youth Dance
A creative expression ministry that allows youth to worship God through movement and dance while growing in discipline, fellowship, and faith.

YOUTH MINISTRY SERVICES
Wednesday Bible Study @6pm in the Main Sanctuary Dining Area for all grades.
Sunday Youth Bible Study: 900am-1000am
Nursery, Pre-Kindergarten - 5th Grade Location: Main Pavilion
6th - 12th Grade Location: Construction Zone (PVCA Location)
Sunday Youth Church Service: 10:15am-12 pm (Youth Services last the duration of the leading service).

Fourth Sunday (Youth Sunday)
Bible Study: 900am-10am
Location: Main Pavilion
NO CONSTRUCTION ZONE: All youth except the nursery will attend the leading service in the Main Pavilion.
