At First Baptist Church of Progress Village, the Heart & Hands of Beauty Ministry is dedicated to enhancing the beauty, warmth, and welcoming atmosphere of our church facilities. Through creativity, thoughtful design, and a heart for service, ministry members use their gifts and talents to create visually inviting spaces that enhance worship, fellowship, celebrations, and special events throughout the life of our church.
We believe the spaces where God’s people gather should reflect the spirit of excellence, hospitality, and love that defines the First Family.
OUR MISSION
Our mission is to glorify God by using our creative gifts to beautify and enhance the interior spaces of First Baptist Church of Progress Village, creating welcoming environments that encourage worship, fellowship, celebration, and connection. Through décor, floral arrangements, seasonal displays, and thoughtful design, we help create an atmosphere where members and guests feel welcomed, valued, and at home.

BEAUTY WITH A PURPOSE
Beautification is more than decorating a room.
Every arrangement, centerpiece, display, and finishing touch is an opportunity to demonstrate care for God’s house and hospitality toward His people.
The Heart & Hands of Beauty Ministry works behind the scenes to help ensure that our church environment is prepared with beauty, excellence, and intention for worship services, ministry gatherings, celebrations, and special occasions.
WHAT WE DO
🌸 FLORAL DESIGN & ARRANGEMENTS
Create and coordinate beautiful floral arrangements and decorative accents throughout the church.
✨ SEASONAL DÉCOR
Transform church spaces for Christmas, Easter, anniversaries, special worship experiences, and other seasonal celebrations.
🏛️ CHURCH BEAUTIFICATION
Enhance interior spaces throughout the church to maintain an attractive, coordinated, and welcoming environment.
🎉 SPECIAL EVENTS
Assist with décor and visual presentation for church celebrations, ministry programs, banquets, receptions, and other special occasions.
🪴 DECORATIVE DISPLAYS
Design tasteful displays, centerpieces, greenery, and decorative features that complement the church environment.
🤝 TEAM COLLABORATION
Work alongside church leadership and other ministries to help create spaces that support the purpose, theme, and atmosphere of church programs and events.
OUR HEART FOR SERVICE
The Heart & Hands of Beauty Ministry serves through both creativity and hospitality. We understand that the appearance of a space can influence how people feel when they enter it. A thoughtfully prepared environment can communicate warmth before a word is spoken.
Our desire is for members, families, guests, and visitors to walk into FBCOPV and experience a church that has been prepared for them with care.
We serve so that every space can say:
