We are so glad you’re considering visiting us! Whether you’ve been in church all your life or you’re walking in for the first time, we want you to feel right at home from the moment you arrive.

We believe that God’s purpose for First Baptist (the First Family) is to show people how to have eternal life and experience abundant life through vital connections within a church family.

WHAT TO EXPECT

When you arrive, you’ll be greeted with a warm smile from our Welcome Team. Our services last about 90 minutes and include vibrant worship, prayer, and a practical, Bible-based message from our pastor.

Dress Code: Come as you are—whether you prefer jeans or your Sunday best, you’re welcome here.
Kids & Youth: Our Children’s Ministry and Youth Ministry offer engaging, age-appropriate activities during service.
Worship Style: Spirit-filled, Christ-centered worship with a blend of traditional hymns and contemporary gospel music.

FOR FAMILIES

Our dedicated Children’s Church staff provide a safe, loving environment for your kids to learn about Jesus while you enjoy worship. Nursery care is also available for infants and toddlers.

ACCESSIBILITY

We want everyone to be able to worship with us. Our building is wheelchair accessible, and we offer assistance to anyone who may need extra help entering or navigating the facility.

From Tampa: Take I-4 E to 1-75 S. Travel South on I-75 to SR-618 Toll/ Selmon Expressway (Exit 256), Take I-75 South Exit on the left toward Naples, Merge onto US 301 South toward Riverview, Turn right onto Progress Blvd, continue on Progress Blvd for approximately 1 mile, First Baptist Church of Progress Village on right.

From St. Petersburg/Clearwater: Take 1-275 N to 1-4 E in Tampa (Follow from Tampa directions from this point).

From Orlando: Take I-4 W to 1-75 S. Travel South on I-75 to SR-618 Tool/ Selmon Expressway (Exit 256), Take I-75 South Exit on the left toward Naples, (Follow from Tampa directions from this point).

From Ocala: Take I-75 South to SR-618 Tool/ Selmon Expressway (Exit 256), Take I-75 South Exit on the left toward Naples, (Follow from Tampa directions from this point).

From Sarasota: Take 1-75 N. Merge onto US-301 S via Exit 254 toward Riverview, Turn right onto Progress Blvd, continue on Progress Blvd for approximately 1 mile, First Baptist Church of Progress Village on right.
