FINANCIAL WELLNESS MINISTRY
Biblical Wisdom. Financial Freedom. Generational Impact.
“Honor the LORD with thy substance, and with the first fruits of all thine increase.”
— Proverbs 3:9 (KJV)
At First Baptist Church of Progress Village, we believe financial wellness is an important part of faithful Christian living. How we earn, spend, save, give, and manage the resources God provides can have a lasting impact on our families, our future, and our ability to serve others.
The Financial Wellness Ministry exists to equip individuals and families with biblical principles, practical financial knowledge, and helpful resources to make informed financial decisions and become faithful stewards of what God has entrusted to them.
OUR GOAL
Our goal is not simply to help people manage money—it is to help build financially healthy households that are prepared to live generously, plan wisely, reduce financial stress, build a legacy, and honor God through stewardship.
OUR MISSION
To empower individuals and families to achieve greater financial wellness through biblical stewardship, practical education, responsible money management, and long-term financial planning.
Through education, workshops, resources, and encouragement, we seek to help members of our church and community develop the knowledge and habits necessary to make wise financial decisions today while preparing for tomorrow.

Everything Belongs to God
Biblical stewardship begins with recognizing that everything we possess ultimately belongs to God.
Financial wellness is therefore about more than accumulating wealth. It is about learning to manage God’s resources faithfully, responsibly, and generously.
EARN WITH INTEGRITY.
SPEND WITH WISDOM.
SAVE WITH PURPOSE.
GIVE WITH JOY.
PLAN FOR THE FUTURE.
LEAVE A LEGACY.
“Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.”
