At First Baptist Church of Progress Village, our Deacons serve as spiritual leaders, assisting the Pastor in caring for the congregation and supporting the mission of the church. They provide prayer, guidance, and practical help to members, ensuring the needs of the body of Christ are met with compassion and integrity.
All members are assigned a Deacon when joining the First Family.

WHAT WE DO

Spiritual Support – Praying with and for members of the church.

Service – Assisting in Communion, Baptism, and other church ordinances.

Care Ministry – Visiting the sick, comforting the grieving, and encouraging the body.

Church Support – Helping the Pastor in carrying out the mission and vision of FBCOPV.
