TRANSPORTATION MINISTRY

Helping You Get to Worship

“Serve one another humbly in love.”

– Galatians 5:13 (NIV)

At First Baptist Church of Progress Village, we believe transportation should never be a barrier to worship, fellowship, and connection with your church family.

The Transportation Ministry provides pickup and drop-off transportation for FBCOPV members and guests from surrounding areas who need assistance attending Sunday worship services.

Whether you are a longtime member, a first-time guest, a senior adult, or simply do not have reliable transportation, our ministry is here to help you get to church safely and return home after worship.

Need a ride? We’ll pick you up!

OUR PURPOSE

The purpose of the Transportation Ministry is to provide safe, dependable, welcoming, and Christ-centered transportation that helps members and guests participate in the worship and fellowship life of First Baptist Church of Progress Village.

Transportation is more than simply providing a ride. It is another way we demonstrate hospitality, remove barriers, and make room for people to experience the love of Christ.

OUR MISSION

Our mission is to serve our church family and surrounding community by providing reliable transportation to Sunday worship services while creating a welcoming experience from pickup to worship to the ride home.

Through this ministry, we seek to make sure that those who desire to worship with the First Family have an opportunity to get here.

Ministry Leader: Willie Brooks

WHAT WE DO

SUNDAY WORSHIP TRANSPORTATION

We provide transportation for members and guests who need assistance traveling to and from FBCOPV for Sunday worship services.

COMMUNITY PICKUP

Our ministry coordinates pickups from surrounding communities based on availability, location, and the church transportation schedule.

WORSHIP SERVICE DROP-OFF

Riders are safely transported to the FBCOPV campus and welcomed into the First Family for Sunday worship.

RETURN TRANSPORTATION

Following worship, our transportation team coordinates return trips so riders can safely arrive back at their designated drop-off locations.

CHRISTIAN HOSPITALITY

Our drivers and transportation volunteers are often among the first members of the First Family that riders encounter. We strive to make every passenger feel welcomed, respected, and valued.

NEED A RIDE TO CHURCH?

We’d Love to Help You Get Here!

If transportation is keeping you or someone you know from attending Sunday worship, the FBCOPV Transportation Ministry may be able to help.

Transportation is available for members and guests from surrounding areas, subject to route availability and scheduling.
